Be You Flash Mob (public performance) 6.15 – 7.30 pm
Rainbow Gympie Community Market 21 June with activities, kids’ zone, artisans, crafts and tasty treats from 8 am to midday at Gunabul Homestead, 9 Power Road Gympie.
21 June 2025 Pride Party with Karaoke and Costumes
Button Empire is stoked to host a Pride Party for the queer community and their allies. Co-hosted by comedienne and Button Empire owner Anna Brennan and local Drag King Bruce Highway, at Button Empire, 115 Mary St.
Karaoke host Bahram Saba will award a prize to the Most Passionate Rendition of a Queer Anthem, and celebrity costume designer Cindy Vogels will judge the costume competition, awarding a prize to the Most Creative Outfit.
Kicking off at 7 pm, this is a ticketed event for ages 14+ with a bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks.
26 & 27 June 2025 Space Girls Festival is turning up the volume with two electrifying events of music, creativity and connection.
OUTER SPACE II: Thursday 26 June at Headspace Gympie. Are you ready for total worm domination? Worm Girlz are here to spill the dirt with powerful guitars and genius lyrics. This all-ages live music event offers a dynamic lineup of diverse acts pushing boundaries across indie, electronic, and alt-pop sounds. Support acts: Georgia Rose, Ella Joy and JEMZEL.
INNER SPACE: Friday 27 June at the Gympie Music Hall. Major headliner to be announced. INNER SPACE is an introspective, immersive experience designed to support emotional well-being, creativity, and personal connection.
Both all-ages live music events are free for 13-25 year olds.
Space Girls curator and event producer Cindy Vogels said: ‘These back-to-back events celebrate the mission of Space Girls Festival to amplify underrepresented voices and provide opportunities for creative youth to shine, connect and be inspired.’
